Start Young…

When I teach movement to young children, I focus heavily on Joy, imagery, playfulness, and structured freedom. Kids light up as they discover new ways of expressing and moving.

When I teach movement to teens/pre-teens, I do the above + I emphasize the importance of giving oneself permission to have fun, It’s ok to be. It’s okay to express. My JoyLab headphones help with this demographic. (When adding headphones, it turns into a JoyLab M.P.)

“Thank you for such a fun NIA workshop last week! Our kids love to move, but we were still so pleasantly surprised at how much they took to it. It really is a testament to your ability to make the movement accessible for young children Michell.

We have visions of you coming to do workshops with our new class next year and the year after that and....We loved it!”
